My first photoshop

Here is my first piece of work on photoshop, i used two differentyimages and cut the head off Osama Bin Laden and placed it onto Katie Price's body.
I used the crop tool and the smudge tool.

Analysis of a magazine front cover

The Music magazine Who’s Jack uses a very unique way of grabbing the reader’s attention. Instead of using the typical big, bright and bold colours they’ve chosen to use very simple, contrasting colours that make the pictures stand out from the background, therefore the focus is on the sharp, crisp detail of the pictures. The fact that there are no other captions, quotes or articles backs up the simplicity of the pictures.

Another way this magazine attracts attention is by using the people on the front cover to look directly down the camera lense with a mysterious expression. It’s the expression of the people on the front cover that substitutes any  words other than the masthead. It creates the reader to become interested in the content of the magazine.
